On this Costa Rica tour, you’ll spend two nights near the Volcán Poás National Park just north of San José, three nights in Potrero, and two nights in Tamarindo.

Day 1: Fly into San José and arrive at Peace Lodge
Located on the grounds of La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park, Peace Lodge introduces guests to a Costa Rican experience celebrating the natural wonders of the rain forest and the splendid creatures that inhabit this magical environment. The ultra upscale accommodations are uniquely themed to complement the beauty of the rain and cloud forest. Every room boasts a Jacuzzi tub and impressive river stone fireplace along with showers that transform into waterfalls with the turn of a knob. Picture perfect views of the La Paz River Valley and the towering Poás Volcano complete the experience.
Day 2: Explore La Paz Waterfall Gardens
Explore the gardens and surrounding areas. You’ll have time to catch your very own trout to eat for dinner at the Big Trout Bar.
Day 3: Transfer To Our Second Location
Today we’ll make our way over to Libelula Lounge & Lodgings, Potrero. On our way to Potrero, we’ll make a stop at Monteverde Cloud Forest. Feel like part of the family at the small, boutique resort. Let them spoil you while you relax and unwind by the beautiful pool, sipping a cocktail, or enjoying freshly prepared, healthy food at the poolside bar and restaurant. Stay in one of the unique and artistic rooms. Choose from a luxury safari tent or traditional rancho room and wake up being serenaded by birds, immersed in our lush garden bursting with tropical fruits and flowers. Upon arrival, we’ll obtain our golf carts for our three-night stay.
Day 4: It’s New Year’s Eve!
Spend the day exploring the town on your golf cart! Make your way over to the Costa Rica Sailing Center for New Year’s Eve fireworks.
Day 5: Playa Conchal
Considered to be one of the most exotic beaches, Playa Conchal is situated in the north of Guanacaste province on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. The sands of Playa Conchal are unique, comprised of the silky remnants of millions of crushed conch shells. Frolic, swim and snorkel in the warm, crystalline waters. Guided rafting, adventure, and nocturnal turtle-watching tours are available—and exhilarating.
Day 6: Transfer To Our Third Location
Today we’ll make our way to Capitán Suizo Beachfront Boutique Hotel, Tamarindo. Tamarindo Bay has some of the most tranquil currents on the Pacific Coast and is considered one of the safest beaches in Costa Rica. Ideal for swimming, kayaking, surfing, boogie-boarding, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Sailboat and catamaran trips are available. The surrounding areas of the village are great for bicycling and horseback riding.
Day 7: Explore The Area

Day 8: Farewell Breakfast
Today we’ll make our way to Liberia Airport for flights home.
